ドキュメンタリームービー「Sketch!」
作詞作曲は、ハワイ在住のShing02さん。音楽はShing02さんの仲間たち。
タイトルコマドリアニメ撮影と編集は、蓮井幹生さん。
そして主役になる映像は、わたしとつながりのある人たちに呼びかけて
自分の好きなことをかたちにする姿を、スマホでビデオ撮影してもらって集めました。
たくさんの子どもたちが登場します。
そのすぐそばには、あたたかなまなざしがあります。
構想から一年以上かけて、みんなのコラボでかたちにすることができました。

Documentary movie “Sketch!”
The lyrics were written by Shing02, who lives in Hawaii. Music is by Shing02’s friends.
The title,frame by frame recording , and animation was filmed and edited by Mikio Hasui.
I called on people who are connected to me to take videos of themselves doing what they love with their smart phones, to be stars of the video.
Many children appear in the film.
The warm gaze of the parents is right next to them.
It took more than a year from the conception to the completion of the project, and it was made possible through the collaboration of everyone.


コロナでソーシャルディスタンス。
マスクで相手の表情がかくれてしまって
人と人の物理的な距離だけではなく心の距離が離れていったり
いろんな関係性が薄れてしまったけれど
家族や仲間、小さなコミュニティの中では
いつもと変わらない小さなしあわせがあります。

次女が3歳の頃、ハート型のプラチェーンを並べて四葉のクローバーをつくり
ニコニコしながら「しあわせ なんこでも つくれるよ」と
目の前の母親に言ったそうです。

During pandemic, social distancing and the mask obscured the person’s expression.
Not only the physical distance between people, but also the distance between people’s hearts and minds have been obstructed.
And many relationships have faded away…
But within families, friends, and small communities, there is still the same small happiness that has not changed.

When my second daughter was three years old, she made a four-leaf clover with heart-shaped plastic chains.
Smiling, she said to her mother in front of her, “You can make as many happinesses as you want.
